Great job JNYO Team!

This month we have been having a great time singing and recording THE FUR RENDEZVOUS SONG. Now it’s time for the kids from Ms. Emde and Ms. Circle’s classes to go into the computer lab and mix the tracks together in Garageband! Below you see some of the rough cuts we have so far. There’s a guitar track, and two different takes of Mrs. Goetchius‘ class singing the 1st verse. One take is definitely better than the other. You’ll have to listen to them both to find out why. Click the play button to listen, then press the CONTROL key while you click the title and choose “Download Linked File As” to download the track.

Nunakavallley.com was behaving badly for the last few days. Sorry about that. I think the website may have stepped in some chewing gum. We cleaned it up and it should be fine now, I promise.

The Song of the Month for January was This Old Man and we all had a

great time singing and playing along with all sorts

of instruments. Our recording includes a little bit from almost everybody here at Nunaka Valley. It has a great bass line played by Mrs. Circle’s 5th grade class, some awesome rhythm stick work by Ms. Emde’s 4/5 class, and wonderful sound effects performed by Ms. Donahue’s 1st grade class. The words are sung by the kids in Mrs. Richardson’s and Mrs. Crandall’s classes. We hope you enjoy it.
