Join the Nunaka Valley PTA

We  would especially like to invite our new families to join the PTA. Meetings are on the first Wednesday of every month.  The next meeting is in the Library at 4:00pm on October 7th. If you cannot make this time please click HERE to email us and let us know how you can assist the PTA.

One of the ways our school has been able to keep programs like Math Club, Family Movie Night, Community Safety Night, and many others running is with the support of the school’s Parent teacher Association (PTA). With more and more school budget cuts occurring, the PTA is more important than ever. Not only does the PTA raise funds, but schools are now relying on PTAs to help fund school projects and volunteer time to cover lost personnel.

Research has shown that when parents get involved in their child’s education a child is more likely to: earn better grades, score higher on tests, pass their classes, have better social skills, and show improved behavior. For those of you with children in kindergarten, there is no better time than now to get involved in your child’s education. With your help, we can make this year a successful one for the PTA and all the great kids at Nunaka Valley.
